Inclusive dance sessions are available through Zoom beginning in May 2020, as a way to connect organizations, staff teams and families who are not currently able to be together in person.
Sessions aim to decrease feelings of distance, stress and tension, and increase a sense of connection, belonging and creativity. The novelty of interacting with each other online through guided movement, can help shift moods and allow bouts of joy and laughter to sneak into a time of such collective difficulty.
To connect about what type of program you would like to set up, be in touch.
Long-distance dancing is in reference to connecting and feeling close online, despite physically being apart. “Long-distance” is also in reference to the spacious time that we are in; a steady pace of dancing might support us along this unrushed marathon through the unknowns, until we get to reconnect in person.
